Seasonal Decor: Fall vs Halloween
Today on the blog we will be sharing ways to add Fall/Halloween decor into your home during this fun spooky season. One of the best ways to begin doing this is by choosing the areas in your home you’d like to focus on.
Some popular areas we like to decorate for a holiday is the entryway, family room, dining room table and bar area.
Entryway
Front Door
A fall wreath and pumpkins are a great way to decorate for the season. If you love Halloween like we do, you can even add some spooky elements for fun. Here are some examples:
Console Table
A console table is another great place to display your holiday decor. Simple fall branches with pumpkins and a candle is always inviting. Thrown in some bats or spiders for some spooky fun! Below are some examples of both simple fall decor and spooky decor.
Family Room
Who doesn’t love a decorated mantle for the holidays. Below are some examples of how to add both fall and Halloween decor to your mantle. Don’t have a fireplace? No problem. Choose another focal point in the room to focus on such as the tv wall or coffee table.
Dining Room
A table scape centerpiece is a great way to be creative and display fall decor into your home. Candle sticks can be a great way to add in color, or you can use black and let them melt down to different heights for a spookier look. Rather you decide to stay with pumpkins or throw in some skeletons, we love the idea of having a decorating dining space.
The Bar
One of our most favorite areas to decorate is a bar. No matter how big or small, a bar is a great way to add in holiday decor. It will set the mood for your evening cocktail or holiday party.
